#FIBAWC: Montenegro suffer defeat vs. Lithuania
In their third game at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Montenegro National Team have suffered a defeat by Lithuania and finished the regular stage of the competition on the second place in Group D, behind – Lithuania.

It has been a game, where Montenegrins managed to resist the Lithuanian squad well for the first quarter, which they have won by a point (27:26), but already in the second one, Lithuania pulled away.
By halftime, Lithuanians have held an 8-point advantage (40:48) and then dominated the second half as well, to prevail in the end with the final score of 91:71.
For Montenegro, Nikola Vučević was atop of the list of scorers with 19 points scored, while Kendrick Perry and Marko Simonović had 13 points apiece.
