Filip Bundović is ready to start his 3rd stint with Cibona as he joined the Wolves for the rest of the season.

Bundović has previously played for the Zagreb giant from 2018 to 2021 when he helped the club win the 2019 Croatian championship, while he then returned to the club for the 2022/23 season. Last year, he suffered a shoulder injury that sidelined him for almost a year, but he is now ready to return on court and help the Wolves in the rest of the 2023/24 campaign.

“Surely Filip will mean a lot to us, especially under the basket. As for his form, he is getting better day by day and I believe his athletic form will peak quite soon. He played his last game in April last year, but he is working hard every day and has a huge desire to improve his form as soon as possible. Filip is an experienced player, while he has already showed his qualities during his previous stints in Cibona when he had some great performances,” said Cibona head coach Dino Repeša.

Bundović is satisfied with the his recovery process, although he regrets that he did not undergo the necessary surgery earlier, which is why everything took so long.

"After almost a one-year break, I had a small crisis because I wasn't sure what the shoulder would look like and what condition it would be in. However, I did quality rehabilitation with our physiotherapist Sandra, and I got that shoulder in good condition. Maybe I was a little late and I should have had the operation earlier, but everything went well at the end. As for the team, I know them all and the guys accepted me well. Coach Repesa is working a lot on the details and I believe that it will all be good, and that we will make the best possible result,” said Filip Bundović.

Sigurno da će nam jako puno značiti u domaćem prvenstvu gdje smo hendikepirani, on će nam tu puno pomoći, specijalno pod košem.

Međutim, odradio sam s našim fizioterapeutom Sandrom jednu kvalitetnu rehabilitaciju, i doveo sam to rame u dobro stanje.
