Three ABA League referees among Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four crew
As we have gotten used to by now, the ABA League referees will spearhead the officials’ crew for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four Tournament.

As the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague have announced, the games of the 2024 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four will be in good hands, as the continent’s most renowned referees will officiate at the crucial games of the elite European club competition and there will be three ABA League referees amongst them this time.
Out of 8 referees, that have been delegated for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four Tournament games, there are 3 that are coming from the ABA League – Ilija Belošević, Damir Javor and Uroš Nikolić.
Belošević and Javor have both officiated at the 2022 Final Four. Belošević brings the most experience amongst all Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four referees, as this will be his 10th time officiating at European basketball’s signature event.
As usually, none of the other European domestic leagues have as many referees delegated at the event, as the ABA League.
It’s worth noting, that Damir Javor has also officiated in one of the two BKT EuroCup Final games, which, in addition to the delegation of 3 of our referees for the Final Four, represents great recognition of the quality of our referees and the level of officiating in the regional competition.
