Game recap: In the opening game of the AdmiralBet ABA League Round 6, Igokea m:tel have edged out Split at home in their Laktaši Sports Hall in Laktaši. This way, Igosi have returned to the winning track following the Round 5 defeat against U-BT Cluj-Napoca, their only defeat this season so far, and are on a wondeful 4:1 record after having played 5 games, as they remain in the battle for the top of the Group A standings. On the other side, Split are now on a 1:4 record and they will have to keep struggling to improve their games in order to keep their chances of advancing to the Top 8.

Key moments: After being down by 6 points at halftime, Split bounced back briefly at the start of the third quarter and managed to cut the gap to only a point (49:48) in the 22nd minute of the game. However, it did not take long for the hosts to pull away once more. Between the 27th and 29th minute of the game, they went on a 7:2 run, that gave them an 8-point lead (70:62) with 11 minutes to go in the game. As it turned out later in the clash, the visiting side simply did not manage to return into the battle for the win anymore until the end.
