Kansai Helios lock up their fourth win after beating Radnički

Kansai Helios continued their strong start to the ABA League 2 season with an emphatic 77:95 road victory over Radnički, improving their record to 4–1, while Radnički remain winless at 0–5.

The visitors set the tone early, exploding out of the gates with a dominant 12:27 first quarter that immediately put Radnički on the back foot. Kansai Helios controlled the tempo from the opening tip, finding easy scoring opportunities in transition and punishing defensive lapses.

Radnički showed more fight in the second quarter, edging the period 29:25, but the visitors maintained a comfortable cushion going into halftime. Kansai Helios regrouped after the break, once again asserting control by winning both remaining quarters (16:20 in the third, 20:23 in the fourth) to comfortably see out the contest.

A key factor in the win was Kansai Helios’ dominance in the open floor, as they outscored Radnički 6:20 on the fast break, getting to easy buckets to grow their advantage throughout the night. 

Veteran captain Blaž Mahkovic led by example with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Jon Dolničar and Jan Zemljič each contributed 17 points, giving Kansai Helios excellent scoring balance.

For Radnički, Aleksandar Marelja was the standout performer with 21 points and 4 rebounds, but his effort was not enough to stop the visitors.
