We have the first MVP of the new season and it is big man Ivan Marinković of Zadar, who achieved the highest valuation amongst all players during the 1st round and has at the same time led his team to an important home victory against FMP.

This is the start of the season that Budućnost VOLI hoped for. Two games - two wins! After making that huge break in the opening round against Cedevita, the Blue squad made a perfect debut at home court as they beat Zadar, and made quite a show for their fans. 

If the season continues for them the same way that it has started, Cibona will be one of the serious contenders for the top in the ABA League. They have proven it in the opening game of the season for them in Laktaši against Igokea, where they have outplayed their rivals.

They faced each other in the last season's semifinals, now they will collide already in the 2nd round of the 2016/17 ABA League season. It's Crvena zvezda mts vs. Cedevita. 

This floater made by Novica Veličković turned out to be the game-winner in the match between Mornar and Partizan NIS. 

After consultations with clubs and in accordance with the league's propositions a new date has been set for the second round game between Union Olimpija and Krka. The new date of the game is 5.12.2016.

He was just unstoppable on Friday evening! Ivan Marinković was the man of the match which his Zadar won against FMP, as he scored 32 points, had 8 rebounds and the overall index rating of 41!

After a comeback from behind by a double-digit of points and the drama in the final seconds in the game against FMP at home court in Višnjik, Zadar have managed to win the first pair of points this season.
