Budućnost VOLI and Sead Šehović renew their cooperatio
After appointing a new head coach Vlado šćepanović instead of Igor Đaletić, who finished last season, Budućnost VOLI already began composing the roster of players for the next season. As a priority, they decided to keep the duo of šehović brothers together, so they offered a contract extension to Sead.

Čebular the next to move from Tajfun to Krka
After they have formed their coaching staff for the next season, Krka started composing their roster. Their new reinforcement is 30-year old and 196 cm tall shooting guard Sandi Čebular, who spent the last season playing in the ABA League for Tajfun.

BiH preliminary squad for EuroBasket 2017 Qualifying Round revealed
Bosnia and Herzegovina head coach Damir Mulaomerović has composed the preliminary squad of Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for the EuroBasket 2017 Qualifying Round. Five amongst 24 candidates played in the ABA League last season.

ABA League headlines the list of Olympic Basketball Tournament and Olympic Qualifying Tournaments referees

As many times in the past, the high value of ABA League referees was once again confirmed during the selection of referees for major basketball events. ABA League will have six of its refs officiating at the Olympic Basketball Tournament and Olympic Qualifying Tournaments - more than any other league.

Kokoškov put 14 ABA League players among 27 candidates on his preliminary squad
Slovenia national team head coach Igor Kokoškov selected 27 candidates to play for the national team this summer, when it will be fighting for a spot at the EuroBasket 2017 in the Qualifying Round. Amongst 27 players there are 14 that played in the ABA League this season.
