FMP grab the win in Novo mesto

Game recap: FMP have confirmed their good form from the preseason by defeating Krka in Novo mesto at the start of the 2019/20 ABA League campaign. The Panthers have been in front from the start till the end of the match and have therefore scored a well-deserved win.
Key moments: FMP made a flying start by taking the 11:0 lead in the first quarter. The visitors were so good defensively in those moments, that Krka managed to score their first points in this match only 4-and-a-half minutes after the opening jump ball! The home team have reduced the gap to a single digit several times throughout the game, however they have never really got close to put FMP in danger.
Man of the match: Aleksa Radanov returned to FMP this summer and it seems that he made the right move. This 21-year old guard was FMP’s top scorer this evening with 21 points, while he missed just one single shot for the entire match! On top of all that, he had 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
Can’t trick the stats: The visitors won the aerial battle in Leon Štukelj Hall. FMP had 9 rebounds more than Krka, which just shows how much the Panthers wanted to win this match.
