Borac stronger than Helios Suns in Sarajevo opener

In the opening game of the ABA League 2 Regular Season Tournament in Sarajevo, Borac of Banja Luka have outgunned Helios Suns after a major comeback.

It has been the game, in which the Domžale squad have started the clash better than their opponents, leading by 10 points after first quarter and by 14 at halftime. However, Borac did not give up and came up with a major comeback in the second part of the game. With 10 minutes left on the game clock, the margin between the two squads have been only 2 points and in the final quarter, Borac have finally come in front, taking their first lead with 8 minutes and a half on the game clock (62:61).

It has been a close finish of the game in which the Banja Luka side eventually prevailed with the score of 79:74.

For Borac, this is the 5th win of the season and they are now on a 5:3 record in a favourable position in their battle to reach the Playoffs. On the other side, Helios Suns keep hunting their 2nd win of the season with a 1:7 record, far away from the Playoffs spots at the moment.
