MZT Skopje Aerodrom keep flying high after beating Široki

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have prevailed over the tournament hosts Široki in the 11th round of the NLB ABA League 2 season.

This is an important win for MZT Skopje Aerodrom, which puts them just below the top of the standings with 9:2 record and they have already secured themselves a spot in the NLB ABA League 2 season Playoffs. On the other side, Široki are now on a 7:4 record and still need to wait for a round or two in order to secure themselves a Playoffs spot, but their chances continue to look good despite the defeat.

It's been a game where, in great atmosphere, Široki have started on a better note, leading by 4 points after the opening quarter. By halftime, however, MZT Skopje Aerodrom have turned the game completely upside-down and took a 4-point lead, which crossed the 10-point margin after 3 quarters (59:71). In the remainder of the game, Široki did not manage to threaten to take away the lead by MZT and the visiting side snatched away a pair of points.
