In the last game on schedule on Monday night in the NLB ABA League 2, Podgorica have prevailed over Široki in Borik Sports Hall in Banja Luka after a major comeback.
It has been a game of ups and downs, where Široki have already been in front by 10 points after the opening quarter, but Podgorica fought back and even tied the game, as the two sides have entered the final quarter. In the last period, however, Široki pulled again once more and it seemed like they would grab a win in the end. Podgorica had other plans. They finished the game with a 14:0 run in the final 4 minutes and got away with a 69:62 win!
Now both squads are tied in the standings at the edge of the Playoffs Zone with a 4:4 records and they will need to keep winning in the remaining five rounds in order to keep their Top 8 dream alive!
