Zlatibor Mozzart scored a huge away win at the start of the new season as they prevailed over Šibenka in the opening round of the 2024/25 NLB ABA League 2 campaign.
This thrilling game had a super thrilling ending as some extraordinary things happened in the final two minutes of the 4th quarter.
Firstly, Josip Badrak made his very first 3-pointer in this match (after missing the previous 6 attempts) to give a 3-point lead to Šibenka – 66:63, with less than 2 minutes remaining on the game clock. But, in the following play, Branislav Terzić hit an unbeliavable AND-1 three-pointer to put Zlatibor Mozzart back in front – 66:67.
After that each side made a 2-pointer – 68:69, while the key moment happened just 8 seconds before the end, when Šibenka star player Martin Junaković made an unsportsmanlike offensive foul.
Zlatibor Mozzart used this big opportunity by scoring all of their 4 free throws in the rest of the match to grab this precious road win.
