Codi Miller-McIntyre shines as Crvena zvezda Meridianbet beat Igokea m:tel on the road
Crvena zvezda Meridianbet came back from a double-digit deficit to beat Igokea m:tel on the road in this week's NLB Match of the Round.

Game recap: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet defeated Igokea m:tel on the road in packed Laktaši Sports Hall in this week's NLB Match of the Round.
It was a copy of some previous Zvezda’s road wins in the ongoing season as once again the red-and-whites had to come back from a double-digit deficit. The reigning champions were down by 12 points after the opening quarter, but in the rest of the match they showed their full power and managed to turn the things in their favor.
Crvena zvezda Meridianbet have therefore improved their season score to 16-3, while Igokea m:tel dropped to 11-8.
Key moments: The game had the stamp of the Match of the Round on it and the players of both teams fulfilled the expectations of all the basketball fans that were eagerly anticipating this match.
Despite playing without their best player Bryce Jones, Igokea m:tel were a much better team down on the court in the first half. The home team had a 12-point lead after the first quarter – 32:20, while they were up by 6 at the halftime – 54:48.
Then came the 2nd half in which Crvena zvezda Meridianbet showed why they are the reigning champions of this region. The red-and-whites played an excellent 3rd quarter which they won by 23:10 and in which they managed to take over the lead – 71:64.
Igokea m:tel opened the last quarter with a 7:0 run to tie the score at 71:71, however Crvena zvezda Meridianbet responded with the key 10:2 run to once again gain a comfortable lead – 81:73. The visiting side have kept their lead all the way until the end without any major problems and they seized another win in the 2024/25 season.
Man of the match: Codi Miller-McIntyre scored 25 points for 25 minutes and recorded an index rating of 25 to lead Crvena zvezda Meridianbet toward this important road win.
Can’t trick the stats: Crvena zvezda Meridianbet was fairly good in shooting 3-pointers as they were 10/26 (38.5%) from behind the arc. On the other side, Igokea m:tel scored just 4 three-pointers for the entire match.
