Game recap: Zlatibor Mozzart have scored 3rd consecutive win in the Top 8 phase and they are now very vlose to secure themselves a spot in the semi-finals stage.
After defeating Podgorica Bemax on the road and Bosna Visit Sarajevo at home, Zlatibor Mozzart have extended their winning streak to three as they defeated Kansai Helios on the road.
Zlatibor Mozzart gained a double-digit lead in the 2nd quarter, which they won by 21:12 and after which they were up by 10 points – 40:30. In the rest of the match, the visitors have successfully repelled all attempts of Kansai Helios of making a comeback, with the key moment probably being the 6:0 run that Zlatibor Mozzart squad made in the middle of the 4th quarter that extended their lead from 59:54 to 65:54.
Kansai Helios did manage to reduce the gap to 4 points – 69:65, with just 1 minute remaining on the game clock, but then Marko Kovačević made an easy lay-up to seal the win for the away team.
Zlatibor Mozzart is the only undefeated team in Group E with the overall score of 3-0, while Kansai Helios now have the overall score of 1-2.
