Crvena zvezda mts added another victory to their overall score in the preseason. Zadar got defeated by Zrinjski Mostar in the finals of the Memorial Tournament “Marijofil Džidić”. At the same time, Union Olimpija failed to make a big comeback vs. Reggio Emilia in Ljubljana.

Zadar defeated Rogaška and advanced to the finals of the Memorial Tournament “Marijofil Džidić”. On Saturday evening, the boys coached by Ante Matulović will face Zrinjski Mostar in the clash for the trophy. Krka lost the match against Zlatorog Laško.

After several years the two-time regional league champions are back in the ABA League.

In the first of the two preseason games against Lukoil Academic Sofia, Karpoš Sokoli were defeated with 5 points of margin (66:61), after a solid first half.

MZT Skopje Aerodrom have made plenty of changes in the roster during the summer, while they hope that this might be their best season ever in the regional competition... 

Zadar signed a one-year contract with 26-year old guard Maj Kovačević, who has proven his qualities at the recently concluded Zadar Dogus Basketball Tournament, where Zadar won the third place.

Zadar beat Lokomotiv Kuban at home in Višnjik to take the third place at the Dogus Basketball Tournament. In the clash of ABA League powerhouses, Cedevita were better than Budućnost VOLI. Crvena zvezda mts outgunned star-packed Hapoel Jerusalem, while MZT Skopje Aerodrom were better than Peja and Partizan NIS downed Spartak Subotica.

The famous basketball club from Zadar is heading toward another ABA League season with a new coach and with a very young group of players in the roster.
