Helios Suns remain perfect after they defeated Sloga in the first match of the day in Široki Brijeg. This is their 11th straight win and they secured first place heading into the 2023 NLB ABA League 2 playoffs.

Helios Suns remain perfect after they defeated Sloga in the first match of the day in Široki Brijeg. This is their 11th straight win and they secured first place heading into the 2023 NLB ABA League 2 playoffs.
Following this loss, Sloga drops to a 6-5 season record and will have to look to secure their playoff position against Pelister-Bitola and Sutjeska Elektroprivreda in their next two games.
Helios Suns built their big lead in the second quarter, outscoring Sloga 27:12, and headed into the halftime break with a comfortable 13-point lead. In the second half, they would keep control of the game and lock up the first position in the 2022/2023 regular season. Lovro Buljević finished the day with a double-double for Helios Suns, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. For Sloga, Zoran Paunović dropped 24 points and pulled down 5 rebounds.
