U19 FMP recorded a comeback victory over U19 SC Derby in the 5th–8th place classification game at the U19 ABA League Championship tournament in Belgrade, prevailing 72:75 after a dramatic turnaround.
U19 SC Derby controlled the game for most of the contest, putting together three strong quarters to build a convincing 66:44 lead heading into the final period. Their consistent offensive execution and defensive solidity allowed them to maintain a double-digit advantage for a significant stretch.
However, the final quarter brought a complete shift in momentum. U19 FMP delivered an outstanding performance in the closing period, outscoring their opponents 6:31. With increased defensive pressure and improved shot selection, they gradually erased the deficit and set up a tense finish.
The decisive moment came in the final seconds, when Emre Ozyegen converted a three-pointer with just three seconds remaining to give U19 FMP a 72:75 lead, sealing the comeback victory.
Zvonimir Dujaković led U19 SC Derby with 13 points, while Mikhail Protsenko added 11 and Vlado Komnenović contributed 10. On the other side, Ayomide Aduramo stood out for U19 FMP with a game-high 17 points.
Following this result, U19 SC Derby will continue their classification campaign with a matchup against Ilirija for seventh place.
